Flower or Bud Loss

Just because your orchid is experiencing flower loss does not necessarily mean it is dead; rather, it is simply entering into a dormant stage of rest.

If you experience premature orchid flower or bud loss, it could be a result of:

• Sudden temperature changes
• Low temperatures (below 55 degrees F)
• The plant is too dry
• The plant's roots are experiencing problems.

Remedy Orchid flower or bud loss by:

• Moving it to a warmer location with a consistent temperature
• Boost your watering amount
• Consider repotting your orchid
• Make sure to dispose of any dead buds.
