I have never heard of doing this before, but it certainly sounds like a great idea!

I like the 3 ice cube watering method. Keeping in mind that ice cubes differ in size, in the end how much water should the ice cubes give to the orchid once per week?

I purchased a "Just Add Ice" orchid six weeks ago. What a pure delight! It continues to add new buds and blooms and still has the original blooms just as lovely as they were six weeks ago. I have just learned that Shaw's Supermarkets (Mass.) will be carrying these and I will be purchasing them as wonderful gifts for very special friends. Thank you so much for these beauties. I Just Add Ice once a week (three cubes) and IT WORKS!!!!

is it the orchid or the method ? in other words does this method work on all orchids?

This watering method is only intended for Just Add Ice Orchids (Phalaenopsis). To be safe, only use ice on Just Add Ice Orchids because it may cause damage on other orchid varieties.
